The Midland Railway is a project of the Midland Railway Historical Association and the Santa Fe Trail Historical Society. Both organizations are non-profit, educational, historical corporations. Funds for operations and developments come from fares, sales, donations and memberships. Persons working on the railroad are volunteers. Memberships are available in both organizations.
